A stand-out athlete at Starkville High School, Andrews averaged 15 points and 16 rebounds as a prep senior. She also participated in track, volleyball and cross-country. As a member of SHS State track team in 1995 and 1998, Andrews' received the Ironman award and was named an All-State high jumper her senior year.
