Three Jones Lady Bobcats to continue career at next level

ELLISVILLE – Three Jones College softball players will continue their careers at four-year schools.

 

Rebekah DiLavore has signed with McNeese State University, Kaleigh Crutchfield is headed to West Alabama and Mollie Singleterry has signed with Huntington College (Alabama.)

 

DiLavore, a third baseman from Ocala, Florida, was named first-team All-MACJC. She batted .340 with eight home runs and 39 RBIs. She transferred to Jones from Southern Miss.

 

Crutchfield, a pitcher from Clinton Christian, pitched 11 innings for the Lady Bobcats in 2018.

 

Singleterry, a second baseman from Wayne County, batted .337 with three home runs and 31 RBIs. She was a second-team All-MACJC selection.

 

The Lady Bobcats finished the 2019 with a 43-8 record, won the MACJC regular season title and was ranked No. 3 in the final NJCAA Division II regular season poll.
