ELLISVILLE – Peyton Ratcliff and Callum Harley have been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Team it was recently announced.
The duo was named to the second team after strong encore campaigns and leading JC to back-to-back conference titles.
Ratcliff, who was also named to the Men's Scholar All-America Second Team, started all 19 matches for the Bobcats as a defender/midfielder. He scored six goals and added three assists and helped JC to seven shutouts.
Harley was credited with 109 saves, which is second in the MACJC and eighth in the NJCAA. He had a save percentage of .820, which is third in the NJCAA. He had a 12-6-1 record in goal, which was tied for first in the MACJC and ranked seventh nationally. Harley was named MACJC Goalkeeper of the Week four times this season. He was also named All-Region 23 in 2018.
The Bobcats finished the year ranked 20th by United Soccer Coaches, their first-ever national ranking from the organization.
