The Meridian Community College Eagles played the Wildcats tough for the first fifteen minutes of the game. The Eagles trailed 23-19 late in the first half. The Wildcats closed the half on a 17-3 run to take a 40-22 lead at the break.
The Eagles attempted to make several runs throughout the second half. Coming out of the locker room the Eagles hit back to back threes to cut the deficit to twelve. Each time the Wildcats would answer back and stretch their lead. The Eagles were unable to get it to a single digit deficit during the second half.
This was the season finale for the Eagles. The Eagles finish the season with a record of 8-14.
