Meridian loses to East Central

 The Eagles played a back and forth first half against the Warriors. The Eagles took a 22-21 lead courtesy of two Alex Oguinn free throws halfway through the half. The Eagles lead was short lived. The Warriors hit a three to retake the lead which they wouldn't relinquish. Heading into the locker room the Eagles trailed 35-33.
The second half was all Warriors as they outscored the Eagles 32-15. The Eagles struggled to get any shots to fall. 
 With the loss the Eagles fall to 7-13 on the season. The Eagles will be back in action Monday, February 18 against East Central Community College. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 on the campus of Co-Lin Community College.
